POTM: PL (September 2025)

September has been fairly disjointed as the international break, European football and the odd domestic club clash has broken up the Premier League schedule throughout the month, not fully allowing the league to hit full gear, but some players aren’t waiting around and have already started the season in style.

This months NextGoalWinner player of the month winner is a player who just cannot stop scoring goals, and although some still continue to argue that he should be adding more elements to his game, his scoring efforts have led to an unbeaten month for club and country in September.

Erling Haaland has been non-stop scoring this season, and in the 9 appearances for club and country in all competitions, he’s only failed to score on one occasion, bringing his tally to 15 goals and 3 assists for club and country this season, averaging 2 goal contributions per game.
