May 3rd: Manchester City 3-0 West Ham United – In the 3–0 home win over West Ham, Haaland’s impact was both historic and tactical. After a goalless first half, he broke the deadlock midway through the second with a wonderfully controlled chip over Lukasz Fabianski, not only doubling City’s advantage but also breaking the Premier League single-season goals record with his 35th league strike. His movement constantly unsettled the Hammers’ defence, providing a focal point for Pep Guardiola’s attack and setting the tone for City to regain top spot in the table as they pushed for the title.

May 6th: Manchester City 2-1 Leeds United – Visiting Leeds at the Etihad three days later, Haaland was more of a tactical predator than a scorer. Although he didn’t find the net in the 2–1 victory, his presence kept the Leeds backline stretched and created space for teammates, with City progressing through patient build-up play. Haaland’s attempts on goal tested the goalkeeper and forced defensive errors, underlining his constant threat even when the goals didn’t come, a performance that helped secure vital points in a congested title race.

May 28th: Manchester City 2-1 Leeds United – In the final league match of the month (and season), City wrapped up with a fixture against Wolverhampton Wanderers where Haaland once again found the scoresheet, helping City finish strong and secure the title with his goal contributions. His clinical finishing and ability to make an impact in the closing stages of the campaign encapsulated his consistency throughout the season, and his goal in this game was one of the last strikes on the way to a historic 36-goal Premier League tally that confirmed his status as the league’s most prolific marksman.
