Match By Match

April 1st: Cadiz 0-2 Sevilla – April began in ideal fashion for En-Nesyri with an early goal away at Cádiz. He doubled Sevilla’s lead inside the opening minutes, reacting quickly in the box to finish from close range and immediately put the match firmly in Sevilla’s control. Beyond the goal, he bullied Cádiz’s centre-backs with his physicality and movement, allowing Sevilla to play higher up the pitch and manage the game comfortably after taking a two-goal advantage.

April 7th: Sevilla 2-2 Celta Vigo – Against Celta Vigo, En-Nesyri once again delivered in a difficult context. Sevilla were reduced to ten men early, yet he gave his side the lead just before half-time with a well-timed header, showing his aerial dominance and instinct for space. As Sevilla tired in the second half and eventually conceded late goals, En-Nesyri continued to work tirelessly as an outlet, holding the ball up and relieving pressure even as the match slipped into a draw.

April 16th: Valencia 0-2 Sevilla – Although he did not score at Mestalla, En-Nesyri played a vital supporting role in an important away win. He occupied Valencia’s defenders throughout the match, making constant runs that opened space for teammates arriving from midfield and wide areas. His hold-up play allowed Sevilla to transition effectively, and his defensive work from the front helped Sevilla control a tense environment against a desperate Valencia side.

April 23rd: Sevilla 2-1 Villarreal – One of the defining moments of En-Nesyri’s month came at home against Villarreal. With the match level deep into stoppage time, he rose above the defence to power home a dramatic winning header. The goal highlighted his composure under pressure and his value as a clutch player, capable of deciding matches when margins are tight. It was a moment that encapsulated why he was so important to Sevilla’s resurgence.

April 27th: Athletic Club 0-1 Sevilla – In a hard-fought away victory at San Mamés, En-Nesyri again contributed without scoring. He battled relentlessly with Athletic’s defenders, pressed aggressively from the front, and provided a constant focal point for Sevilla’s attacks. His intelligent movement and physical duels helped Sevilla maintain territory and pressure, paving the way for a late winning penalty that secured all three points.
